eSIM Installation Error
I am getting the error "eSIM invalid" or "unable to activate" when I try to scan my eSIM. This is a standard error message your phone will show when eSIM installation fails. Which can occur for a number of reasons.
- Most commonly, it's because the eSIM has already been installed in your device when you first scanned it. Please check your phone's mobile settings and check if there is more than 1 SIM now available. If there is, make sure your Australian SIM is turned off and only the installed eSIM is turned on.
- If it's your first time scanning the eSIM QR code, the error can show if the WiFi you're connected to is not stable upon installation attempt. If you have checked that the eSIM is definitely not installed, please restart your phone, reconnect to WiFi and re-scan/renter the QR/activation code.
